The series « All these songs are about you and I » intends to explore the influence of media texts on the real and perceptual experience of interpersonal relationships. For each video, a song is chosen because of its significance to one of the protagonists, and echoes the state of their relationship. By proposing a raw parallel between the images and the words they illustrate, the videos portrait emotions otherwise hidden by the cultural codes connected to the original context of the song. The series is about reclaiming these texts and accepting their influential power over emotions that emerge from the individuals as well as from their environment.
